Founded in 2002, Korean Association for the Study of Intestinal Diseases(KASID) is committed to advancing research on intestinal diseases and setting clinical standards to improve public health. The association hosts annual symposiums, workshops, and conferences to promote knowledge sharing among experts.

Since its launch in 2016, the IMKASID has become a key event. The 9th meeting in 2026 will be held in conjunction with AOCC 2026, continuing to highlight global research and promote international collaboration.
